This week in school we learned about bullying and how to stop it. We learned how to stand up to bullies. In math class we learned how to make mixed numbers in fractions and how to add fractions. In art we made these really cool hunted houses using paper bags and scrap paper. They were scary! You may see them in the display cases between the gym and the office.  In ELA class we continued reading Wonderstruck and Wonder. Today's quote is ''You are your own little light, shine bright so everyone can see." We also got new words for Words Their Way. In church the homily was about the meaning of life and to serve others and God. We also had a really hard Social Studies test! We worked hard and did our best. In religion we learned about all of the sacraments and what we can do to take care of creation.

We also learned about hypothesizing, recording and organizing, and analyzing in science class. This Thursday in mass we learned about how to be friendly to others and how to help the people in the path of hurricane Irma. In science we did centers  and classified shells, estimated jolly ranchers, and found the mass of a pencil, eraser, pencil case, and a book, and we used a thermometer to find the temperature of  water.
